Family mini sessions are a simple way to mark a moment in time without the commitment of a full session. They’re designed to fit easily into busy family life, giving you a short, relaxed experience and a small set of meaningful images to take away.
These mini photoshoots take place at a set location and time, with a gentle structure that keeps things running smoothly without feeling rushed. There’s no pressure for anyone to behave or perform. You show up, spend a bit of time together, and I’ll take care of the rest while capturing what naturally happens.
They’re often the easiest way to update your photos – whether that’s refreshing frames at home, marking a new stage, or simply capturing your family as you are right now. Because the sessions are shorter, they’re best suited to smaller groups and simple interactions like a walk, a cuddle, or a bit of play. It’s not about covering everything, but about coming away with something that still feels like you.
Some sessions are offered at certain times of year as seasonal mini photoshoots, such as Christmas or Mother’s Day. These are kept simple and considered, with a light seasonal setting that adds context without taking over. The focus always stays on the people.
I offer family mini sessions across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, and Moray at selected times throughout the year. Availability is limited, with dates released in advance.
