When you book me to film your wedding or capture your family’s everyday moments, you’re not getting a big production company or a faceless team. You’re getting me. Just me.

(Okay, sometimes I bring along a second shooter – but it’s still very much me running the show.)

I’m the one who answers your emails, jumps on calls, shows up with my cameras, edits every single clip and photo, and makes sure every little detail feels right before it lands in your inbox. No outsourcing. No passing the buck. It’s all done by me – usually while juggling snacks or hoping my twin girls stay asleep.

This isn’t just about control (although, sure, I’m a bit of a control freak). It’s because I truly care about the way your wedding film or family photos turn out. I want them to feel personal – not just for you, but for me too. I want to tell your story in a way that feels honest and unique, not just plug you into some generic template.

Over the years, I’ve realised just how precious these memories are. There’s nothing worse than looking back and wishing you had photos or videos of loved ones who are no longer around. I still spend evenings watching old family videos with my grandparents or going through dusty photo albums (yes, I mean real paper albums), soaking up moments from decades ago that feel like little time machines. It’s those genuine, unpolished memories that really stick with us. That’s what drives me every day – to create images and films that you’ll want to revisit years from now, and that future generations will cherish.

That’s also why I don’t promise one-week turnarounds for full wedding edits. I get why quick delivery sounds great, especially when you’re buzzing after the big day. But I’d rather take the time to do it properly. Life throws curveballs – especially when you’ve got kids who suddenly develop a passion for catching bugs or deciding naps are optional. So instead of rushing to meet unrealistic deadlines, I build in extra time to make sure your film and photos get the care and attention they deserve, without panic or shortcuts.

I also understand how important it is to stay connected through the whole process. This care starts before you even book me. I still do video chats with couples – not just because it’s a step in the process, but because it matters to me that we click. I want you to feel comfortable, like I really get your vibe and vision for the day. And I want to be clear about how I work too. If it doesn’t feel like a good match, I’ll be honest with you. I’m not here to take bookings just for the sake of it – I want to be sure I’m the right fit for your day.

When we do click, it changes everything. You get to be yourself without worrying about posing or looking perfect. I get to focus on capturing those moments that are real, heartfelt, and sometimes a little messy. And together, we create something meaningful – a story that feels truly yours, not just another polished highlight reel.

So yes – I do it all myself. From the first hello to the final edit, it’s me you’re trusting. And that’s exactly how I want it to stay.

If you’re after a personal, thoughtful, and genuine approach to wedding videography or family photography – I’d love to hear from you.
